Visit Nenagh.ie Classic – 17th April 2016

As our local race, there was once again a big turnout in Nenagh for the VisitNenagh.ie Classic from the club.

In the A4 race, David Donovan, Gareth Genockey, Micheal Cahill & Jim Bourke all took to the start line for the tough 80km race which included 3 big climbs an Moneygall, Kileen & Latteragh. There was also the 19.16 prime sprint in Cloughjordan. Gareth just missed out on the sprint. All 4 riders made it home safely, with David the first UDCC man over the line.

In the A3 race, Peter Leahy, Pierce Butler, Jerry Ryan, Martin Bourke, Trevor Groom all took to the start line for the 120km race.

Strong climbing from Peter Leahy saw him contest the sprint in the center of Nenagh town where he grabbed 9th Place overall.

Well down to all who took place in the A3 & A4 races and thanks to the big number of spectators who turned out on the day. They seemed to be at every corner of the course!
